M.E.S Central School, Valanchery, is built on lofty ideas as envisaged by its founders, igniting love and respect for humanity and environment, stimulating intellectual, physical and emotional aspects of life.The school is proud of its glorious past and conscious of its responsibility towards the ever-changing aspirations of ‘genext’.
The Muslim Educational Society, a non-political socio-educational-cultural organization, registered under Societies Registration Act, was established in the year 1964. The M E S is the largest corporate agency of the Muslims in India, managing more than 150 educational institutions.
M E S Central School was established in 1990 under the auspices of the Muslim Educational Society and managed by the M E S Valanchery Unit. The school was named after a highly prominent personality of the area, Dr. N K Mohammed; a physician, a philanthropist and above all, an M E S leader. We adopted the Montessori system of education for classes up to 3rd in 2007 and named it after Dr. Jamal, another eminent personality in Valanchery.
The school has completed twenty five glorious years in the path of providing the light of education to generations in Valanchery and had its Silver Jubilee Celebrations in all its majesty. It has an excellent track record in academic and non-academic activities and is now one of the most sought-after institutions in the district, thus fulfilling the long-cherished aspirations for a school imparting quality education to the students. It is the first C B S E affiliated English Medium School in the locality, catering students from Montessori Junior to Std. XII.
